Automatic weather station (AWS) is a device for measuring the wind speed and its direction. It has a GSM/GPRS terminal built-in and it can be reached from any telephone. When it is called, the device measures the average ten minute wind speed and it gives information in voice about the speed and the direction of the wind. It also informs about the gust of the wind, and some models even the temperature of the air. All stations can speak in English, Slovenian and Croatian language. AWS has got an anemometer for measuring the wind speed, a wind vane for measuring the wind direction and a thermometer for measuring the temperature of the air built-in. AWS is a completely automatic device and it does not need any special treatment. For filling it has solar cells and accumulator built-in which enable its continuous working during the day. Some models work also at night.

AWS 2000

– Same as model AWS 200 additionally send data every 10 minutes to the website www.wind-portal.net

AWS 3000

– Same as model AWS 300 additionally send data every 10 minutes to the website www.wind-portal.net
